The cars that are available varies from Ambassador (4 Seater) to Tata Sumo (8 Seater). The best part is that the rates are fixed and hence no chance of bargaining or cheating.


On an average it costs about 1500 INR to reach from Delhi to Joshimat and another 300 INR from Joshimat to this town. If you are thinking to reach by bus, there are buses from Kashmiri gate to Haridwar every 30 minutes and most of these buses are being operated by State Transport Corporation. To Reach Auli by Rail one has to get down at Haridwar as the nearest railway station to Auli is Haridwar which is at a distance of 280 Kilometers.

So if you want to have a comfortable journey to this place you can prefer this route. To Reach Auli by Air it should be kept in mind that the nearest airport to Auli is Dehradoon which is a domestic airport and it is situated at a distance of 315 Kilometers. The nearest international airport is New Delhi, situated at a distance of 500 Kilometers. Coming to this place is a fun itself as there are no direct rail or air routes to this place.
